The Black Within is a horror adventure game developed by waleedzo and published by Dolores Entertainment.
In terms of trophies, technically it is an easy game which can be completed in less than 30 minutes, if they patch all the walkthrough breakers from the game.
Right now, at launch, I consider it a medium difficulty game which can take around 1 - 2 hours depending on your luck avoiding the walkthrough breakers:
The worst part is that the game needs to be completed in a single sitting because it doesn't have any saving system.
The game is quite straight forward so I will give you some details on how to avoid some walkthrough breakers
Technically you should use the circle button to use inventory items, but this might get you stuck, so just double click with the cross button to automatically use an item from inventory
There is a monster that runs up the stairs, which might get stuck, and you won't be able to go up the stairs anymore. nothing you can do here.
Opening the drawer where you find the hammer is another challenge.
If you run too fast through the game, the doors can close on you, making you stuck.
Use the tape on the TV with the circle button. Watch the whole tape on the TV, else you might get stuck at the safe.
The worst part of the game, where I lost 1 hour, was the fuse box. Use the fuses from left to right, place them without rushing, and place them with the circle button. Move the crosshair at the bottom of the fuse, not in the center of it. After placing 1 fuse, wait to hear the electricity noise, then proceed with the next one. If you are lucky, you will be able to open the garage door. If not, you will have to quit the game and try again.
Another breaker is for the shed at the next house. Technically you should go and pick up the wheel to open it. Do not do that. Try to open the door without the wheel, and it will work. If you use the wheel, the door remains stuck, even though that is what you are supposed to do.
Hopefully you will be lucky to finish the game in 20 minutes without any walkthrough breakers.
